The graph provides information about the amount of money spent on variety forms of entertainment in three biggest parts of the world namely, Asia, Europe and the United States between 1995 and 2000.
As can be seen from the chart, entertainment industry is composed of 5 different forms: cinema, video, music, publishing and television.
The first noticeable thing is that in general, the US spent the largest proportion of money on entertainment over a five-year period. In 1995, the expenditure on entertainment by US constituted 184billions, where it was 3 times more than Asia’s 67billions and 2 times higher than Europe’s 97 billion dollars. However, entertainment market saw a significant increase in all these given parts of the world during 1995 and 2000.The pattern for Asia rose from 67 billions in 1995 up to 110 billions in 2000. The boom can be seen in the USA, where the figure reached 257 billions.
In conclusion, all shown parts of the world experienced a remarkable increase in the money which was spent on different sources of entertainment.
