In 1940 the amount of population in Yamhill was 30.000 and then this population increased gradually to 45.000 in 1970. Thereafter, this number continued to go up but much faster to 90.000 by 2000. In contrast, there was a steady climb in the local people of Columbia from 29.000 in 1940 to 32.000 in 1970. After 30 years, Columbia’s population rose markedly by 43.000. Likewise, the years 1940 to 1970 saw the population of Washington increase from 75.000 to 121.000. By 2000 there was a quick rise in the proportion of population in Washington to 241.000.
In conclusion, over the given period we can see that the results of Columbia and Yamhill were almost same.
