Abstract: the results of a study of the sorption characteristics of the microspheres of fly ash from thermal power plants for their further use as adsorption and coalescing materials for wastewater treatment of gas separators are presented. The physicochemical properties of ash microspheres have been studied. The specific surface area calculated from the benzene vapor adsorption isotherm is 16.82 m2/g.
