The diagram illustrates the recycling process of glass bottles. The whole process is a cycle which can be divided into three main stages.

The recycling process of glass bottles starts when used bottles are collected in a recycling place and they are ready to be transported by a truck. In the second stage, glass bottles are washed by high-pressured water then they are given different colours, brown and clear ones. Afterwards, the glass bottles are conveyed to a glass factory where they are cut into glass pieces and pieces of glass are then, put into a furnace. After being heated in the furnace, the broken glasses are melted into liquid, which flow into a glass mold. Once the moulding process has been completed, new empty glass bottles are filled with beverage, after that packed and dispatched to the supermarked.

At this point, a cycle has been completed and a new cycle will begin.
